Make Eco friendly Ganesha. A poem " Mere pyare Gannu"

At the end of festival time  every year thousands of Ganesh idols get immersed in rivers, lakes or wells (process called as Ganesh visarjan). They immerse all size idols, big ones, and small ones, already water in rivers is very polluted around most of the cities and this immersion process makes it more dirty and contaminated.

 With this poem i dont want to hurt anyone's feelings. I am also a religious person but A large section of society is unaware of the pollution these chemical-made idols bring to the sea water. Ganesha idols are made using highly corrupt materials like Plaster of Paris and other chemical paints which contain good amounts of mercury and lead. It takes several months for these idols to completely dissolve in the water while they continue to poison the water bodies in contact. Only if they could realize that it is not possible to please the God by damaging his universe. Rituals and customs are not the commands of God but only man-made principles. It is not an undeniable order to follow them blindly. Besides, there are a number of ways in which the rituals can be performed without damaging the environment.At the end of the day, people definitely need to realize that just as it is important to worship God, it is equally important for us to protect the beautiful world "HE " has gifted us with!

मेरे प्यारे गणु

   कैसा ये भारत देश,

और कैसे तेरे भक्त गणेश.

पहले तो घर ला तुझे सर आँखों पर बिठाते,

रोज चार बार मोदक और मेवे  का भोग भी लगाते

फिर अचानक कर देते  तुम्हारा विसर्जन,

गाते, नाचते और बजाते  हुए ताल

मुड़  कर देखते तो पता चलता तुम्हारा हाल,

कहीं  तुम्हारे पाँव है, तो कही तुम्हारा हाथ

बुलडोज़र से हटाए जा रहे तुम्हारे खंडित  अंग,

और समंदर में बिखर गए अनगिनित रंग.

जीव- जंतु हो रहे पानी में परेशान

हमारा क्या कसूर, घबरा हो रहे हैरान

लाखो पैसा( धन)  बह जाता पानी में हर साल,

कब बदलेगी सोच ,क्या  आएगा बदलाव?.

नहीं बदलना चाहते हम लोगो की  भावनाएं

पर हमें नहीं भाती   ये पुरानी  परम्पराएं

समझ नहीं पाते हम ये रीति और रिवाज़,

इससे तो बेहतर दे दो किसी भूखे को अनाज (Food).

या फिर बनाओ  केवल  इको फ्रेंडली गणेशा ,

चारो और रहे शुद्ध हवा हमेशा.

ना करो शोर शराबा, ना बजाओ बैंड बाजा,

हाथ जोड़ बोलो बपा ( गणपति) हमारे  दिल में समां जा 😘😘

Kaisa yeh Bharat desh,
Aur kaise tere bhakt Ganesh.

Pehle toh ghar la tujhe sir aankho par bithate,

Roj 4 baar Modak aur Meve ka bhogh bhi lagate .

Phir achanak kar dete  tumahara visarjan,
Gatte, nachate aur bajate hue taal.

Mudh kar dekhate toh pata chalta tumahara haal,
Kahi tumahare pav hai, toh kahi tumahara haath.

Bulldozer se hataye ja rahe tumahare khandit  Aang,
Aur samander mein bikhar Gaye anginit rang.

Jeev- jantu ho rahe pani mein pareshan,
Hamara Kya kasur, ghabra ho rahe Hairan .

Lakho paisa beh jata pani mein har Saal,
Kab badalegi soch ,kya Ayega badlav.


Nahi badalana chahate hum logo ke bhavanaye,
Par hamme nahi Bhati yeh purani paramparaye.

Samajh nahi paate hum yeh Reeti aur  Rivaz,
Isse toh behter de do kisi bhookhe Ko Anaaz (Food).

Ya Phir banao keval Eco friendly Ganesha ,
Charo aur rahe shudh hawa Hamesha.

Na karo shor sharaba, na bajao band baaja,
Haath jodh bolo Bappa (ganapati Ghammare  dil mein sama jaa:)

Ganapati Bappa Morya.
